Old files show up on Internet periodically

Who can I get my newly edited and uploaded frames to show up
consistently on the Internet?

Sometimes the new frames appear on the Internet, and sometimes the old
frames appear.

The old ones sometimes appear despite me frequently pressing "Empty
Cache" in Safari and also clearing my history frequently in Safari, and
frequently re-uploading the newly edited frames, and also sometimes
deleting the relevant files from the server and re-uploading them and
re-saving the relevant files and re-uploading them.

If you're clearing you browser's local cache (and assuming you are
uploading the files to the correct place), then it's possible / likely
that your Internet connection provider has their own cache. The useless
fools running my provider (Vodafone New Zealand) have what they call an
"invisible proxy" that basically acts as a local cache so that it lowers
the cost of their international traffic bill ... at the expense of their
users since the stupid thing has had problems.

I think there is a way to set pages to be refreshed (i.e. have an expiry
date so the server is told to look for a new version) in the HTML headers,
but I've never bothered to look into it. Maybe someone else can tell you
how that works.

Once the new files do turn up in your browser, it shouldn't be possible
for older versions to reappear though ... unless your website host is
having server problems and retrieving old backup files after you upload
the new versions.
