Longhorn vs. Tiger

I'm no zoology expert, but I know that tigers are found in different parts
of the world than longhorns are. Still, if they were to meet in the wild,
who would win?

Tigers prey on similar animals in the wild.

Most cats are at the top of the food chain (with the exception of Man).

ha!

Good point. The housecat is perhaps at the top of the chain. Perhaps OS X11
will be named 'tabby' ;o)

Be grateful you do not live in Wisconsin. There is a growing crowd who are
trying to pass a law allowing them to hunt and kill the little sneaks
because they hunt in everybody's backyard and kill the birds and mice.

I can see the mentality behind it... seems there is a great deal of stray
cats, and they really do have an impact on native species... I have 3 cats
of my own, all of them have bells on their neck to help alert the birds,
etc....

Problem is, cats are great while they are kittens but so many people get
tired of them and just let them loose... as usual the problem is PEOPLE...

You are just so wrong. Read up. All they are doing is permitting people to
treat FERAL cats the same as certain other noxious wild animals. We have had
that law in Minnesota for many years. Nobody "hunts cats", fer crying out
loud.

Yeah, but after Microsoft gets through tinkering with it, it will
probably be cross-eyed, dehorned and riddled with viruses. Not to
mention late to the party.

When I was in high school in the 80's in West Texas, it was not unheard of
for seniors or even juniors to have gun racks, with rifles on them, in their
pickup, in the school parking lot. Nowadays, you get arrested for having a
butter knife in your car.

Molly Ivins is from here (Ft Worth, then Asutin), but she's way too liberal
to be really popular here.

Depends on the speed of the Cadillac... I'm sure it would be like a moose or
elk, and gore the people in the front seats...

Ever watch a water buffalo hunted by cats? The water buffalo is fierce as we
are told but the cats hunt them in packs, one cat comes from behind and
grabs the balls and while the beast is screaming bloody murder another cat
grabs the buffalo by the juggular and down goes your 1 ton of beef steaks.

For what it's worth, a Longhorn can chew up and spit out a penguin.

Of course, the longhorn is a pretty crappy swimmer in comparison. ;o)
